America 2005–Ongoing
Since 2005, I have photographed America through its landscapes, people and cultures, traveling across different regions of the United States. These black-and-white photographs move between the vast spaces of the American West, mountains, deserts and open roads, and encounters with the people and communities who inhabit these places. My work explores the relationship between people and the land, the diversity of American life, and the beauty, fragility and continuing transformation of the natural environment.
