Fine art prints selected from more than six decades of my photographic work are available to collectors.
The collection spans documentary photography, cultures, human experience, and landscapes—from India, Morocco, Tibet, and Southeast Asia to Europe, Ukraine, the American Southwest, and beyond.
Prints are produced using traditional and contemporary fine-art processes, including handmade silver gelatin and platinum-palladium prints, Piezography, Fujicolor Crystal Archive, and archival pigment printing.Prices generally range from $250 to $1,200, depending on the work, printing process, edition, size, and whether the photograph is signed
The Fine Art Print
For me, a photograph is not complete until it becomes a physical print. The choice of process, paper, tonal interpretation, surface, and scale is an integral part of the finished work.
Silver Gelatin
My traditional black-and-white photographs are printed by hand in the darkroom. Selected prints are selenium toned when appropriate for their tonal qualities and enhanced permanence.
Platinum-Palladium
Selected photographs are produced using this historic hand-coated process, valued for its extraordinary tonal range, subtlety, physical presence, and permanence.
Piezography
For digital black-and-white work, I use Piezography, a specialized monochrome printing system capable of exceptionally subtle tonal separation and rich blacks. These prints are made exclusively on Hahnemühle fine-art papers.
Fine-Art Digital Color
My digital color prints are produced with Cone inks exclusively on Hahnemühle fine-art papers, selected for their color fidelity, tonal control, surface quality, and archival characteristics.
Fujicolor Crystal Archive
Selected color photographs are also available as photographic prints on Fujicolor Crystal Archive materials.
I personally make or closely supervise my prints. I do not consider the print simply a reproduction of an image. The print is the photograph.
