Violence Against Women
Silence, Memory, Resistance
Violence against women crosses borders, cultures, and generations. It can enter the home, mark the body, and remain hidden behind an ordinary day.
Through this series, I reflect on the fear, silence, and lasting wounds that violence leaves behind. The faces invite us to pause—to consider the life, the memories, and the humanity of each woman.
I want to confront the viewer with both vulnerability and dignity. A woman’s identity cannot be reduced to the violence inflicted upon her. Her presence, her individuality, and her right to live without fear remain central.
These images are an invitation to look closely, to question our indifference, and to refuse the silence that allows violence to continue.
